silent acclamations midst deafening oppositions

So… I was just thinking of how many things have gone wrong since I’ve been back at school and sometimes they’ve gotten a little overwhelming. What with the car breaking down, not being able to find a job, my phone getting disconnected, not having any money to even pay for a haircut that I was supposed to pay for last week, not being able to go on extension ministry on the weekends and see the family… it’s just been a little overwhelming so I’ve decided to try and focus on the blessings that God’s given instead. 

1. Salvation (if you don’t know what I mean by this… please email me or leave me a comment and I would love to explain it to you!) 

2. Life and health

3. Family (even though I’m so very far away from home right now)

4. A great school to prepare for the ministry

5. A great ministry at which to train at

6. Great friends (they know who they are =) )

7. A very special friend (significant other) I have back home 

8. The fact that I have my sister Isely here at school with me

9. Being in the Spanish Ensemble at school

10. A great Godly upbringing

11. A wonderful home church that supports me while I’m at school

12. An awesome Aunt and Uncle I have close to me here who spoiled me and my sister on our birthday (since we are far from home… lol) 

13. The chance to work close to the Spanish Ministry of LBC in the office and their music program

14. My awesome dorm and roommates (Brian, James, and Adam) 

15. An  awesome couple that I got to get close to while being here at school (they let me come to their home all the time and watch some tv and use their wi-fi and eat their food! lol) 

16. My new Mac! =)

There is sooo much more that I can probably continue to think of, but I’ll leave it at that… I’m feel so much blessed and better than i was just a few minutes before writing this.
